London fashion weekend. Spotted #CanonFashion

As you probably already know, last weekend I visited Somerset House thanks to Andy Torres and Canon UK. The London Fashion Weekend was going on and I was running around soaking in the fashion, inspiring talks, and trying not to bump into any of the super tall and super skinny models wandering around. Here are the photos of some people that I spotted and I thought looked good. They were all super friendly and super happy. Just the way it should be! Maybe you'll find some inspiration in their outfits as well! Keep on popping in to see more photos from that fabulous event. Thank you again, dear Canon, for inviting us over and thank you, lovely Andy, for choosing my outfit photo.

More white!

Oh glorious Saturdays. Is it just me or is that the best day of the week? Earlier this week, on a slightly warmer day full of sunshine we shot the all-white outfit. I'm getting my head around the idea of wearing white and cannot do so throughout the warmer seasons that are yet to come. I fell in love with these trousers as not only are they white but also have a black leather trim on the top. It kind of makes them... special? edgy? not sure. Today I am spending the day in London enjoying the goodness of Fashion Weekend. Hopefully, I'll be able to share what I saw with you soon! Oh Stella. On matching suits.

Oh Stella. I fell in looove with matching suits. Stella McCartney does them like no one else. They have a perfect length jacket paired up with either shorts, a skirt or a pair of trousers. Masterpieces! They look ever so chic and sophisticated. Who would've thought that a simple man suit would ever evolve into what Stella presents in her collection right now?

Men and women's suits have such different functions though... Well they did when they were invented. A suit for an average man was introduced to hide what he wears 'off duty' and make him look more official but just like a small part of a big business machine. No identity, no out-staningness. For a lady, on the other hand, a matching suit is created to show off. It's a bit like we were peacocks and putting a matching suit on was like spreading our back feathers. The bolder, the better. Whether it is print, colour blocks or jacquard all that matters is that is has to make a statement. Well, my matching suit is on it's way. Hopefully, to be worn during London Fashion Weekend!

All in black.

All in black. I do not do that very often. But some days just feel like 'all in black' days. Anja Rubik once said that if you don't know what to wear, just wear all black. Apparently, one cannot go wrong with it. Unless you live in sunny california, I guess. Today I am ever so excited as I just booked my tickets to the Vogue Festival taking place in April. I am going to see Victoria Beckham, Tamara Mellon, Anna Dello Russo and many other famous people talk on how they work what inspires them and what pushes their buttons. Cannot wait! Maybe you are going as well? Let me know if you are!

New in. Neon baby.

Time to add some bright colours to your wardrobe, dear ladies! Don't be shy. This season it's all about the brighter, the better! So if you haven't got any neon items at a hand, it's high time you went shopping. From hipster Rita Ora to classy Miroslava Duma - everyone is going for brights. Not sure about the idea? Go for a bright yellow beanie and try wearing it with anything you think it doesn't go with. Believe me. The less you think it matches your outfit the better it actually looks.

Inspired by sunshine I dashed to Zara (there was a rather interesting article about why Zara is worn by fashion people together with Philip Lim or Prada in The Guardian last Saturday) to do my bit for helping the economy. I picked up a pair of paisley printed jeans. I only have one pair of classic denim jeans in my wardrobe so I figured that one more pair won't hurt. I also went for a bright yellow/green/hi-vis jumper to create a bright casual look. Also, couldn't help myself but go for the red/pink/raspberry (what colours is it actually?) sling backs with little studs on the top of the heel. Last, for a sporty chic look I picked up a white jumper clearly inspired by the gym outfits but so chic at the same time. Cannot wait to share the whole looks with you! Happy Tuesday everyone!
