January outfits.

Can't believe it's February tomorrow. Looks like 2013 is going to be a quick one, ladies and gentlemen... Since it's the last day of the month I've decided to sum it up. As always, it has been a great pleasure to take photos with my dearest PJ and update the blog. There has been a few good films I've watched, zillions of coffees I've drunk and plenty of reasons to smile. I'm kind of glad that January is over though. It simply means that spring is just round the corner... This weekend I might get to the mountain of shoe boxes by my wardrobe and treat them to some TLC, maybe say good-bye to a couple of pairs... It's always a tough one... Going back to the outfits, I've seriously enjoyed wearing peplum and re-discovering navy. Which one was your favourite?

Gold jumper and a peplum skirt.

Not all that glitters is gold, eh? Today I'm sharing with you some gold-ish photos taken in the warmer times that finally came. I can't believe I could ditch the coat for more than one second! On that afternoon I've decided to pop on 'the armour' as my friend calls it. Meaning the gold jumper. I paired it up with a black leather peplum skirt and to complete the golden-black look I popped on some studded boots. I kept the outfit simple with just two colours. To break up the golden look I wore my latest lipstick purchased instead of nail varnish. Something is telling me that it will appear on my lips (and take-away coffee cups) on a regular basis...

New in. Last sales buys. Shoes.

If you were to call me and I wouldn't pick up, you would hear 'Hi, it's Eva. I'm shoe shopping'. That's how I came up with the name for the blog. And how did I come up with the voicemail message? I'm sure that every Sex and the City fan will know the answer to that question. Season 2 episode 18. Bang! Watch it here. How come that it is SHOES out of all items that we wear that get THE most attention? Well, I do and at the same don't know the answer to that question. All I know for sure is that a lady cannot possibly have too many pairs of shoes. It's simply an oxymoron. 'Too many pairs of shoes' sounds just wrong.

Following my life mantra I've taken advantage of the January sales and invited three new pairs to live in the see-through front Ikea boxes right by my wardrobe. I went for a pair of flats. I don't own many of them... but they do seem to be needed from time to time. I picked up a pair of black velvet loafers/slippers in a very Lucy Chadwick style. Can't wait to wear them with black skinny jeans and a white shirt! Also, I made my dream come true. I have been secretly in love with this pair of black lace sling-backs for months. Unfortunately, we were kept apart by the lack of my size. I'm glad we found each other one Thursday morning during an online shopping adventure. Great for work as well as romantic looks. I'm sure they will be frequently found on my feet complementing the floral trousers I got recently. The last pair is a kind of a compromise pair of shoes. I've been rambling on and on about the white stilettos. Couldn't find the perfect ones but I grabbed this lovely pair of white-ish heels off the shelf without even trying them on. We just looked each other in the eye and we knew we were meant to be together. All that love for less than £70. Roll on spring!

Another week has just started. Just to sum up the previous one I put all my Instagram photos together. It was a busy week! I've seen two film that I highly recommend: The lie of Pi and Gangster Squad. If you haven't seen them you simply must catch up. I've also had lots of coffee in between meetings and blogging. Also, if you are a make up fan you simply must explore the new Chanel collection. All my favourite bloggers have been rambling on and on about it was well as it's simply delicious. Oh spring, please hurry! Have a good Monday everyone!

Leopard and denim with a white shirt.

Is winter going away? Everything is melting away so... hopefully I'll be able to wear the two pairs of shoes I bought this month and kept in the box! It's disgraceful. Every pair of shoes deserves to be worn the following day if not straight away on the day of purchase! But going back to winter for a moment, I've decided to take the leopard coat for a walk. As I was getting dressed in a classic weekend outfit - jeans and a white shirt - I thought I'd spice it up with some animal print and a statement necklace. Great outfit for a Saturday shopping trip. And yes, this is exactly what I've been doing after taking these photos. Would you like to know what lovely items joined my wardrobe? Stay tuned, they will soon appear on the blog... Be ready for a floral explosion!
